I apologise if this is in the wrong sub-group.
My name is Neha as my username suggests. I'm only really ever in the lounge after hours so I don't know many of you. So talk to me here! Also, someone should kick off the philosophy section of the forum. All the stuff Erica suggested for discussion sounded really interesting.
I like the colour blue and making lists.
I'm currently procrastinating my assignment and my life in general...i should go...

It sure is! One of the reasons we decided to make the forum in the first place was to give people a space to talk no matter their hours were at uni... all with the convenience of the internet, so it's great to see you here! I also love the colour blue. I make lists but don't keep to them. Good luck with both your assignment and your life, and I look forwards to seeing you in the philosophy section too!

I am writing this very quickly before I run off to work. I felt vaguely guilty for not joining the forum, so in some niggling spare time I made my account; and then I wasn't sure if I should use 'Toz' or 'Vittoria'. Then as I stared hard at my computer screen with its sickly glow bouncing off my skin, the three-minute sign-up process became a ten-minute sign-up process. I shall now follow the trend of the above posters: my favourite colour is grey (yes, I know, it's a shade. Stop nitpicking) and I make lists when I can't keep ideas straight in my head for writing or assignments or something like that. They are rarely of the to-do sort, because I know that I won't get all (or maybe any) of the things on a to-do list done and don't wish to disappoint myself by creating a permanent record of my expectations. I am in the women's lounge ALL THE TIME when I'm at uni, so people might recognise me. I hope I'm recognised! I'll feel like a minor celebrity. : D

Hey Vittoria! Welcome to the boards. Great to see you around, and yes, I certainly recognise you! (Feel like a minor celebrity yet?) Eh. Grey can be very pretty. Who cares if it's a shade. Welcome again, it's great to see you here.

Vittoria's here, huzzah!
I've noticed we've gained three new members in the last week, which is pretty cool! I'd love to see more members sign up and start posting - after all, the whole point of this forum originally was to give a bit more voice to them women within the Women's Department and make things a bit more interactive.
This makes me realise, I really should have introduced myself here. Better late than never? My name's Emily Kate, I'm one of the two MSA Women's Officers for 2010, and now I'm more than halfway through that term already. My favourite colour is black (followed by purple and grey equally, followed by red and white equally, followed by blue. I view all of those as colours and none of those as shades - after all, pink technically is a shade of red, isn't it?). My interests are music, mental health and L.O.T.E. and I'm usually in the Women's Office next to the Women's Room.

Hello! My name is Carmen and I am always in the women's room! hehe It makes uni bearable. I have actually been reading all the interesting posts in this forum but never signed up because well I'm more of a listener/observer. However, since it is my last semester at Monash I thought this would be a great way to stay in touch with the lovely women in the women's room and still be a part of a supportive network of women so here I am! I would love to contribute my thoughts by writing some posts when time allows and would love to hear from you all. Oh and my favourite colour is purple at the moment, many colours are so pretty so why stick to one? hehe I love to make lists too! It helps my brain de-stress by unclogging my mind.

Hi Carmen! Great to see you here and I hope you will be able to use this to stay in touch with us. *hugs* I totally approve of changing favourite colours - mine was green before it changed to blue . Purple is very pretty too! And de-stressing is very important at this time of the year. Good luck with everything!
