thought it would be useful if we had a thread where people recommend doctors that they've seen on campus. For example, female-friendly, good with stuff like pap smears, open minded and non-judgemental, queer positive, etc etc. this could also apply to counsellors if people would like

Great topic, Cicada! I totally agree. I personally have seen Dr. Rebecca Franklin on the Monash Clayton Campus, and she is absolutely amazing in terms of women's issues. Non-judgemental , friendly, and does good referrals to specialists. Even better, she's has a lot of experience running pregnancy groups, and so she is completely cool about women's health and incredibly experienced with internal examinations and pap smears. So yes, I definitely recommend her.

I've seen Dr Wendy Pakes and Dr. Judith Kirkwood, who were both very open and also extremely approachable. I now only book appointments with them and would not hesitate to recommend them

Thanks for your thoughts, y'all.
Yeah I personally really like Dr. Vani Reddi at Monash Clayton, she is heaps nice and caring in general. She's also really good with stuff like pap smears... :\
