Hmm... I'm not sure what to think about this. On the one hand, I can certainly see where it's coming from. It might have something to do with the fact that I hate Snow White. On the other hand, I liked some of the later movies and concentrated more on the intelligence and pizzazz of the girls. What do you think?

Wow! Nice link! I'll have to go scrounging around for more information on 'My Princess Bible'... maybe it's wrong of me, but I kinda feel it's like that perverse fascination associated with watching car crashes, etc... Thanks for posting that up.

No worries. So why do you hate Snow White, anyway?

I have to admit, Snow White just irked me because I couldn't stand her voice. And her eyes. Her mannerisms just really creeped me out... they were so over-the-top innocent/socialised 'girly'. Probably just me though. As for the Princess Bible information... I collated some information in here about it. Thanks again for letting us know about this! Some of the links I found were really interesting reads.

Hehe. Well now that I think about it, I never did understand why someone who had ghostly-white skin could automatically be said to be 'beautiful' because of this. Racism, perhaps??

Quite possibly. Although probably sexism as well. If a man was ghostly pale, people would probably think he was ill or malnourished or dying or at the very least that something was wrong. But a woman? Looking frail and faint is considered incredibly feminine.
